Hope Pro 2 EVO Trails Rear Hub
The Pro2 EVO Trials and Singlespeed hubs are a continuation of the standard Pro2 hubs. With the main technical specification of the standard hub, the Pro2 EVO Trials and Singlespeed (which are the same hub) have the same 24t 4 pawl configuration - but in an offset design, so that the engagement becomes 48t. This gives almost instantaneous drive - perfect for trials and decreasing wear and damage caused by the pawls engaging in the ratchet.
The hub also has a specific shortened steel cassette body, which will take up to 6 cogs. The hub comes as standard with a spacer kit and 2x M10 bolts and serrated caps. The internals have also had a rolling change on bearings, with the stainless steel cartridges now being used throughout, along with an improved needle roller bearing in the back of the barrel.
The Pro 2 trials hub has found its way onto many of the top trials riders bikes in the UK and around the world. Strength, reliability and low weight make it the number 1 choice for Ben Savage, Martyn Ashton, Joe Oakley, Danny McKaskill, Thomas Oehler, Danny Butler, Chris Akrigg and Kenny Belaey.Dirt jumpers, 4X and street riders have also embraced the quick pickup and dedicated short freehub body of the trials hub for their specific uses
